BIO-PROTAN®Microvega PWD is a compound of micronutrients complexed to organic molecules. Amino acid molecules obtained by hydrolysis of natural protein, are able to penetrate rapidly through the leaf cuticle and roots and carry micronutrients inside the vegetal tissues.
The unique formulation of naturally chelated micronutrients and amino acids (the organic molecules and “building blocks” from which organic proteins are made) helps for the prevention of micronutrient deficiency stimulating simultaneously the metabolism of the plant. Amino acids absorbed by the plant leafs and roots are ready to be used for the production of proteins, enzymes and plant growth regulators increasing vegetative activity, stress resistance and quality of the agricultural production.
BIO-PROTAN®Microvega PWD is suitable for foliar and soil application and is characterised by its fast action and excellent compatibility in spray application mixes. The main product function, beyond supporting vegetative activity and increasing stress resistance, is the prevention of manganese, zinc and boron nutritional deficiencies. BIO-PROTAN®Microvega provides microelements with high bioavailability and is therefore an indispensable support to basic fertilization in vegetable and industrial crops with high demand of essential micronutrients.
We recommend BIO-PROTAN®Microvega PWD application as soon as the plant shows the first deficiency symptoms. Apply Microvega PWD when the plant manages the greatest metabolic effort like the start of vegetative cycle as soon as the plant has sufficient leaf mass, in pre-flowering and petal-falling phase and fruit development).
We particularly recommend the use when the crop is subjected to adverse conditions (drought, cold, salinity, root asphyxia) and as a treatment for plant recovery following critical periods (transplantation, damage from hail or frost).
BIO-PROTAN®Microvega PWD is water soluble without any precipitation that could clog filters and nozzles of the irrigation system.

Dilute BIO-PROTAN®Microvega PWD before using it on plants. In case of inexperienced handling we recommend a preliminary test on small areas before extending the treatment to the entire culture. The dosages advised are purely indicative and may vary depending on crop, crop vegetative cycle, climatic conditions and average yields expected.
In the greenhouse and when mixed with sulphur and trace elements apply the lowest recommended dose.
With the exception of the olive grove avoid use in conjunction with copper, stannous, sulphur based products and mineral oils since the combination with free amino acids improves the absorption rate and can result in phytotoxicity.
