All living beings require L-amino acids as the basic structural units for the formation of proteins, enzymes and as starting material for the synthesis of other essential substances. For the plants, the normal and most practiced way of amino acid supply is indirect and makes use only of the root. Inorganic nitrogen fertilizers from soil application (ammonia, nitrate, urea …) are absorbed by the roots and transformed into L-amino acids by enzymatic processes. Besides favourable climatic and soil conditions, every plant needs energy for the transformation and synthesis of biological macromolecules. All these steps run naturally if the soil, water and plant physiologies are optimal.
Since the seventies, the alternative of directly supplying of amino acids by foliar application has become more and more common. Compared to soil fertilization this method has no need of nutrient fertilizer dispensation in the soil and no need for biochemical transformation of inorganic nitrogen to organic amino acids. At early and essential stages of plant development, amino acids sprayed on the leaf are quickly up-taken by the leaf tissue and used as starting material for the synthesis of proteins, enzymes and sugar, improving significantly plant metabolism, development and growth.
Foliar application of amino acids is particularly helpful and widely practiced before and during stress situations when plant growth retardation or plant damage occurs. Stress conditions can include factors such as low temperatures, pest treatment weakening and soil fixation of conventional fertilizers.

DIAMIN®N5B is a liquid Bio-stimulant and foliar fertilizer produced by hydrolysis of natural regenerative protein. The aminogram (the diagram of free and total amino acids) pictures a natural balanced amino acid composition and is proof of the absence of any synthesis amino acids.
We recommend DIAMIN®N5B foliar application because of the small molecular size and the well-balanced content of biological active L-amino acids. DIAMIN®N5B regular application during the period of greatest metabolic effort (transplantation, vegetative growth, flowering, ripening and maturation) supports a continuous vegetative growth and improves the quantity and quality of agricultural production.
Beyond the positive influence on vegetative plant development, amino acids also help preventing and correcting micronutrient deficiencies by improving the leaf and root absorption of microelements. DIAMIN®N5B amino acids act as natural chelates and carriers through the plant tissues when applied in combination with microelement fertilizers. The chelating effect with certain amino acids such as Glycine enables cation microelements like Iron, Calcium, Zinc, Manganese and Copper to link (ligate) with amino acids, form a metal complex and be more easily assimilated by the plant. The carrier properties of free amino acids and short chain peptides combined with the natural chelate properties of amino acids increase microelement fertilizers efficacy and help to reduce their application doses.
The use of DIAMIN®N5B in combination with almost all common fungicides, herbicides, insecticides and plant growth regulators improves treatment efficacy, reduces unwanted metabolic side effects and supports plant recovery after the treatment.
DIAMIN®N5B is also suitable for soil fertigation. Proteins, Peptides and Amino Acids are rich in organic nitrogen. The combination of organic nitrogen with conventional mineral fertilizer, supports plant nutritive needs for a qualitative and quantitative growth, diminishing in many cases the total use of fertilizers as well. A balanced nutrient management is achieved together with a sustainable use of soil premises.

Dilute DIAMIN®N5B in water before use. In case of inexperienced handling, we recommend a preliminary test on small areas before extending the treatment to the entire culture. The dosages advised are purely indicative and may vary depending on crop, crop vegetative cycle, climatic conditions and average yields expected.
DIAMIN®N5B is stable when stored under normal undiluted conditions. Intended for immediate use when diluted. Close package properly after use and store in a frost-free place. Shake well before use.
